Hamilton provides clients with high-quality site development design and permitting services, incorporating sustainable design principles. We optimize site potential, conserve natural resources, and remain budget-conscious, fostering long-standing client relationships in the land development industry.

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors at our civil engineering and land surveying firm. This role is responsible for providing professional front desk support, managing incoming communications, and ensuring smooth administrative operations that support our engineering and project teams.

  • Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate staff
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services
  • Maintain the front office, conference rooms, kitchen, and common areas in a clean and organized state
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate conference room bookings
  • Support document management efforts, including scanning, copying, and filing
  • Timesheet entry & project starts
  • Maintain inventory and order office and breakroom supplies
  • Coordinate with vendors and maintenance services as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to project managers, engineers, and executives
  • Ensure compliance with office safety and visitor protocols

Qualifications:

  • Some experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
